The United State of America is the most powerful country in the world. With the largest population in North America and the third largest in the world, it boasts of 50 states and is regarded as the most ethnically diverse country in the world as a result of the large immigration from several countries. The country boasts of a spectacular amount of tourist destinations ranging from ultra-modern skyscrapers to nature’s wonders like the Yellowstone and Alaska to the exciting beaches of Miami or Hawaii. Here is a list of a few of United States most spectacular attractions.
1.       Grand Canyon:

The Grand Canyon is one of the most visited attractions in the United States, with about five million annual visits. It is located in the northern Arizona, it was carved out millions of years ago by the Colorado River. Its landscape is breathtaking and its size is overwhelmingly spectacular.
2.       Yellowstone:
               
The Yellowstone National Park which covers about 3,500 sq miles is the world’s first national park to be set aside for the preservation of a large number of hot springs, geysers and other thermal areas, the park is home to half of the all the world’s geothermal features, it was set aside to protect the rich wildlife and preserve the rich natural gift in the area. Yellowstone is set on a large hotspot with an eruption of hot molten rock and light. Wildlife like grizzly bears, elk, wolves, black bears and elks can also be found on the park.
3.       The White House:
               
The White House is located in Washington D.C and serves as the office and official residence of the president of the United States. It was built by President John Adams between 1792 and 1800. A tour of the White House is available through an extensive arrangement made by a member of congress or a country’s US ambassador. It is advisable to request for a tour of the White House up to six months ahead of time.
4.       Niagara Fall:
               
Niagara Falls is located between the state of New York and the province of Ontario. The Niagara Falls is one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonder. It is made up three different falls namely the American Falls, the Horseshoe Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls is located on the Canadian side while the others are on the New York side. It attracts over 10 million tourists from various parts of the world annually.
5.       Las Vegas Strip:


Las Vegas is an ideal destination for tourists who crave maximum excitement, it is the world’s gambling mecca. Several casinos lies around the streets in Las Vegas but the strip which is a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard is lined with many casinos and resort hotels. Some of the largest hotels in the world can be found on the strip, the view at night is simply breathtaking.
